New GMail Lab features added recently

Google’s GMail Lab has come up with some new useful exciting features.

See these new features

1) Search Autocomplete – As soon as you start typing in your gmail search box, it will automatically show you completed suggestions.

2) Go To Label – Integrated into search box, start typing something it will show you label and when you will click on that it will result into “label: your label name”

3) Forgotten Attachment Detector – Whenever you send a mail then when you will click on send then it will scan your mail and will check if you used any phrase like a “attached” then it will prompt you whether you forgot the attachment.

4) YouTube Previews – Now you can watch youtube video in your gmail itself if there is any video in your gmail.

5) Custom Label Colors – Now you can select any custom color of your choice for your labels.

6) Vacation Dates – It allows you to select the vacation date in advance and configure your vacation responder.

GMail – got someone else’s email into your Inbox

Hi Everyone,

Gmail logo

Today i got a mail on my gmail id but i checked email id it was not mine.

But it was there in my inbox and there was a nice message after that email id which looks like my email id.

See it.

Yes. This is the text which i saw after that email id looking like my email id but with 2-3 dots (.) in that email id and i followed the link to “Learn more” about this thing.

And i was shocked to see the result.

Gmail doesn’t recognize dots as characters within usernames, you can add or remove the dots from a Gmail address without changing the actual destination address; they’ll all go to your inbox, and only yours.

so if your email id is abcdef@gmail.com then even a.b.c.e.d.e.f@gmail.com is also yours.

All these addresses belong to the same person. You can see this if you try to sign in with your username, but adding or removing a dot from it. You’ll still go to your account.

It was really amazing thing for me.

How to Create PDF files in Office 2007 – word, powerpoint, excel

So you have installed office 2007, Great.

Its very nice to work on office 2007, word, powerpoint and excel sheets. Now the interface is also very attractive and with lots of functions.

So you might have created files in that and now want to send it to your clients or to your friends, but you don’t wanna send it as .doc or .docx format and you want to convert it to pdf and then send it to them.

But there in no inbuilt option in Office 2007 products.

But not worry, on Microsoft site they have provided a Add-in for saving documents as PDF or XPS format.

Just download that and install it on your system, thats all and you will be able to create pdf files from your Office 2007.

Recently I was working on creating a new look and feel for this site. And after working with different tools and techniques finally i came with this new cool design.

Still i am working on it to make it even better, and adding some good features.

Once its complete i am planning to keep it for download.
